RN!

I cant find the right word to describe my feelings right now, it feels like im still in cloud 9 after i knew i passed the Nursing Licensure Examination (NLE) or aka ticket way for my nursing career. Yesterday, August 19,2011 the Board of Nursing released the said results in the net. At first i was terrified a bit, knowing that the results may turn out not so good as the previous one happened to me, (well let's skip about that).

I should say waiting for your name to appear in the list of passers is way scarier than a horror movie. Anxiety is up, cant concentrate for several times at that moment, then when all of the sudden my FB friends are posting that they passed already, and i was OMG!--and the words of "what if" comes into my mind. Ugh!!! It gets worse when website for the results is lagging terribly, so i decided to use the search engines, typed the words then it leads me to this other site, which i thought i can view the results, i clicked "R" since my surname starts from that letter, scroll down............. then there's NOTHING! and there i was.... i thought i didnt passed... looked again, then found out i did entered to the WRONG site, the results was dated 2010!!!!! i cried suddenly, i just go back to FB to hear some news if there's any links... then after a few minutes, i received a txt from my close friend D, and there..... i didnt stop from crying.... the txt said, "J, u made it...congrats!" a second later my classmate posted in my wall "29699 RETITA, JACELLE DIANE SALON" and from there i indeed, passed the examination.

noticed on my numbers???? kk^^ **wink
Bro announced to my mom and aunt who are in the living room that i passed the exam, saying my name very loud with the two letters, "RN" in the end. RN means Registered Nurse btw, so thats why i come up for the title of this blog. :) I immediately went to mom, crying and hugged her so tight...she is shouting "Yes,yes" and thanking a lot of people and especially to the Lord. She is definitely HAPPY, why cant she, she already have 2 nurses now... kk^^ then after he called dad in the cafe then dad said his heart is beating fast...like hyperventilating  happy dad... its like a drama i've been watching on tv. kk^^ now i know where i get being emotional easily...

I received a lot of congratulatory words from friends, relatives and family after. It feels really good, i know that they were there with me in everything, my ups and downs. And oh, a lot of us passed the exam btw, my friends, all my regards to them.... Congrats to us!So right now we are just waiting for the oathtaking! :)

with Calay, another RN! ^^
(taken during our grad last year Mar '10)
I want to take this opportunity to thank foremost to God, for being there with me not just only during the exam but also during the review days, to all the Saints that i've been praying, to Mama Mary, to Lord of Pardon, and to the Holy Spirit, thank you. I do hope hope u will always be with me as i started my career as an RN.

To my family and friends, who have been my inspiration to this journey. Thank you for believing in me. I love you all!
To my mentors, professors and the RGO team (review center), thank you guys.... ur not just teaching us mentally, emotionally and physically but also spiritually... Thank you!

So i guess ill end this blog with my title, "RN" this can be the start of my future, and the start of another journey...i know that it will not be all easy like riding in a smooth road but with this two letters i can mold to be a better and responsible person.

xoxo,
jas RN
